What Is SKINVIVE?

SKINVIVE by JUVÉDERM is an injectable treatment formulated with a soft, smooth Hyaluronic Acid (HA) gel and developed using VYCROSS® Technology. It is specifically designed to improve skin hydration and overall skin quality.

Unlike conventional dermal fillers, SKINVIVE is not intended to restore facial volume or reshape facial contours. Instead, small amounts of HA are injected as microdroplets across the skin to help it appear more hydrated, smoother, radiant, and naturally glowing.

Results may last for approximately six months, depending on the individual’s skin condition, lifestyle, and aftercare.

Preparation Before Treatment

  • Avoid alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before treatment.
  • Consult the doctor when taking medication or supplements that may affect blood clotting. Do not stop prescribed medication without medical advice.
  • Avoid treatments that may irritate the planned treatment area, according to the doctor’s recommendations.

Aftercare

Following SKINVIVE treatment:

  • Avoid touching, massaging, rubbing, or pressing the treated area for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid applying makeup for approximately 12–24 hours.
  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, excessive heat, and strenuous exercise for approximately 24–48 hours.
  • Maintain adequate hydration to support overall skin moisture.
  • Mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness may occur temporarily. Contact the doctor promptly when symptoms are severe, persistent, or concerning.

Expected Results

Following SKINVIVE treatment, the skin may gradually appear more hydrated, plump, radiant, and smooth. The treatment is designed to create a naturally healthy-looking complexion without making the face appear overly full or altering facial contours.
