What Is Infusion™?

Infusion™ is a device designed to deliver selected active ingredients into the skin using an electrical current known as IONWAVE. The current is applied at an appropriate frequency and duration, temporarily altering the arrangement of cells in the epidermis and creating microscopic pathways, or microchannels, within the cell membranes.

These temporary microchannels allow selected ingredients to pass into the skin. After the procedure, the cell membranes return to their normal state.

Infusion™ is an electro-mesotherapy device manufactured in Israel by Viora. Its technology is based on the principle of electroporation, which temporarily increases the permeability of cell membranes to support the delivery of selected substances into the skin.

Compared with conventional iontophoresis or phonophoresis treatments, Infusion™ is designed to deliver a greater amount of selected ingredients into deeper layers of the skin without needles, open wounds, or significant discomfort.

Contraindications and Precautions

Infusion™ treatment may not be suitable for individuals who:

• Have a pacemaker or an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator
• Have superficial metal implants or other implants in the treatment area
• Have an immune system disorder, unless assessed and approved by a doctor
• Have a history of epilepsy
• Are pregnant
• Have received botulinum toxin, collagen injections, or similar injectable treatments within the previous 30 days
• Have undergone any type of surgery within the previous 40 days
• Have an active or chronic skin condition in the treatment area, such as eczema, psoriasis, open sores, or a rash
• Have an active herpes infection, including herpes zoster
